I made a research about supplements in bodybuilding. I have asked a lot of bodybuilders about different supplements. I wanted to check whether they are aware what kind of things they eat and why do they eat them. The results are surprising as a lot of them don"t really know what and what for do they take. This is not a biased research as I travelled long distances to different cites to ask different bodybuilders. Most of them knew what a mass gainer is, I wonder why? Maybe because it is a no brainer? Mass and gainer - you gain mass when you eat it, correct? Of course it is correct. Then I asked them about a product called whey protein and the problems began. Some thought that it works the same way as mass gainers; that it gives you a lot of mass. Of course there were ones who answered in a good way. The true problems started when I asked them about creatine and it"s usage. Some of them couldn"t answer the simple question, what is creatine and why do you use it. Yes, they used it. Others knew the answer and told me that they use it to ‘pump" their muscles and to have a lot of strength. Believe me or not, nobody knew that creatine can be found in us without even taking the pill. When I told them that they can get it from meat they were shocked. All of them thought that it is an artificial product made in laboratories to boost bodybuilder"s performance.
